Why is it that when you change who you are to be unique, you end up not being yourself at all?
Or when you love someone and they hurt you, you find somebody exactly like that person.
No matter what you do, you just want to "be yourself"?...
Definition of normal: conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.
Sound familiar?
I'm pretty sure at one point we all fall under the false impression that we are better than somebody else...
Like the "weird girl" in the hallway at school with not many friends,
Or the man on the street begging for money or food,
Or even the criminal behind bars.
This however is not true.
Everbody tries to be what they think is normal...
That girl is being who she thinks she should be, and although that man didn't choose to be there,
he is living the best way he knows how, and even the criminal was once a little kid playing ball in the park.
So ask yourself, why is it that a boy can tell a girl he loves her but be saying it to someone else?
Or a terrorist can commit unimaginable acts of violence?
How can a parent not even love there own child?
I ask these questions, because nobody knows the answer.
Nobody could read this and say that doesn't apply to me.
Because no matter what happens or how different we try to be.
We are all the same, all different shades of what we consider "normal"...
Right?
