Family vacations are always fun
You laugh and have as much fun as a gun
You see all the lights
Take in all the sights
And bond until its all done!
Off to Hawaii, so much to see
There is enough for you and enough for me
There we will snorkle with all the fish
And maybe even sample some exotic dish

Facebook

Every teenager knows the expression "creepin the book." It refers to the act of searching facebook and looking at other people's pictures, statuses, and comments. So pretty much you are doing exactly what is said...creepin (but not in a creepy way of course). Facebook is all the rage in high schools all over the place. What is the draw to this? Ask anyone who has a faebook and they will probably have no idea. Knowbody knows. There are even some people, like me, who can't stand facebook...yet probably have it going in the background while they read this. So there really isn't much of a point to this blog, but to simple state...facebook. The drug of the 2010.

Happy Days

There are always those days when you wake up and you think to yourself, "Hey! Today is going to be a good day." Well today was one of those days for me. Even though I was dead tired at school, and I didn't even do anything outrageously fun in any of my classes...I still found myself having a good day. So tomorrow, try to have a good day. It'll be worth it!!

Pretzels

Everybody loves pretzels. They are just such simple little snacks that are great to eat at any time of the day. Each one of those tiny twists contains a salty explosion of deliciousness. Not to mention, they aren't even that bad for you. The pretzel was invented many many years ago, by an unknown monk in Italy. Possibly out of boredom, he took the leftover bread dough and wound it into tiny shapes. After baking the shapes, all he needed to do was spice up his new snack with a little salt and CaPow!! You have a delicious snack that almost every normal person enjoys.

Celebrities

Everybody thinks that celebrities are so amazing, and such good role models...blah, blah, blah. After spending 12 hours with 3 different celebrities, I was able to discover the truth.
The heart throb from mean girls [aaron samuels], turned out to be nothing like his kind character in his movies.
He was a very cocky, obnoxious person with an ego the size of Canada.
We were eating dinner and the whole time he talked about how amazing he was and how everybody was sooo lucky to be around him.
He even reached over and took food off my plate thinking that it was okay, because he is a celebrity, and i must be in love with him.
He was one of the typical attention seekers, who thinks the world revolves around him.
Well, that's just one of the celebrities that isn't exactly who the public thinks they are.
And I know that if I were famous, I might get cocky too.
But honestly this is my opinion, and i'm not just judging him.
I actually sat next to him as he got super drunk and was making fun of the waitors because they weren't him.
So if you guys don't agree...thats your own opinion, but this is mine.

Dance Your Heart Out

Every year, there is this huge fundraiser to raise money for HIV/AIDS. What is this fundraiser you ask? Well, a bunch of people come together at the mall of america to dance for 12 hours straight. No, you heard me right, 12 HOURS!!!! This epic event took place on saturday, March 6th. It was an absolute blast!! However, it did take quite a toll on my body. Lets just say I can't really feel my entire body. A lot of people ended up leaving at about the 8 hour mark...but my one sister and I danced the entire 12 hours. Just let me repeat myself one more time...12 HOURS!!!!!!! That's a lot of hours of straight dancing. In total we ended up raising 42,337, to send an entire group of kids to summer camp this summer.
Not only were there actual AIDS survivors there, such as a 14 yr. old boy named Darrell whom after yesterday I am very proud to call my friend. He contracted AIDS through a blood transfusion when he was only 4 days old. Can you even imagine? I know I can't even begin to understand everything he has been through.
In addition to Darrel and a few other survivors that were there, there was also some celebreties. Such as;
  • Jonathon Bennett-Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls

  • Robbie Amell- True Jackson VP
  • Paris Bennett- American Idol winner (Season 5)
It was really cool, because I got to hang out with them all day. I even won a lunch with them, and then after the event, I also got to hang out with them at the after party. Everything was for a really good cause. It was really difficult, but still incredibly fun and totally worth it.

...Silence...

So many things are going wrong everyday. People can be so warped in the dark confinement of the human mind. When a person reaches a state so raw where reality, and the picture in which they surround themselves, combine...a lot can happen. A person can snap to a point where their own family is fearful of them. I can't even think of the words to describe how that would feel. To have one of your own in such a state. What can you do? ...What can you do when whatever you say to help only gets twisted up to make matters worse? A situation like that can tear a family apart. Slowly unraveling the fine fabric that holds together the tight mingling of the family bond. Maybe I am naeve. Maybe I just don't understand at all. All I know is that in such a situation...maybe the one who says the least feels the most...
Maybe
